Our company was founded in 1956 for heat-laminating steel and making blades for cutting marble and soft natural stones. By the early 1970s, working alongside Carrara gangsaw makers, we developed a blade to cut blocks of granite and other hard stones. Until then stone-cutting techniques were very rudimental, using iron blades, sand and water.
