On September 25, during Marmo+Mac 2024, CONFINDUSTRIA MARMOMACCHINE and the Verona Fair Board (Veronafiere) renewed for another five years the partnership that involves them in the joint valorization of the Italian stone/techno-stone industry. The agreement was signed by the Honorary President of CONFINDUSTRIA MARMOMACCHINE, Flavio Marabelli, and the Director General of Veronafiere, Adolfo Rebughini. Also present at the signing were the president of the Italian stone association, Gianluca Pellegrino, and the president of the Verona Fair Board, Federico Bricolo.
The CONFINDUSTRIA MARMOMACCHINE-Veronafiere framework agreement, in force until 2029, consolidates a collaboration begun in 2013 for the purpose of putting in play skills and operational synergies to internationally strengthen the Marmo+Mac tradeshow and the entire Italian stone/techno-stone industry. The agreement also serves to reinforce official relations, in particular with ICE-Agency, the Ministry of Business and the Made in Italy (MIMIT) and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MAECI).
We remind readers that CONFINDUSTRIA MARMOMACCHINE is the Italian association of reference for the sector, with more than 360 members among producers of natural stones and makers of extraction and processing technologies. Veronafiere is the organizer of Marmo+Mac, the tradeshow of reference for the worldwide stone industry.
“Renewing this strategic-operational agreement with Veronafiere demonstrates recognition of the excellent joint work recently done to strengthen and consolidate the Marmo+Mac tradeshow and the Italian stone industry as a whole” stated Flavio Marabelli, Honorary President of CONFINDUSTRIA MARMOMACCHINE. “And we are convinced we can further improve our synergies, with new and important projects and work to support the internationalization of the show and the companies in the Italian stone sector”.
“We are very pleased to renew this collaboration with CONFINDUSTRIA MARMOMACCHINE, a strategic partner in the success of Marmo+Mac and in promoting Italian natural stones worldwide” added Adolfo Rebughini, Veronafiere’s General Director. “In an increasingly competitive market context, this agreement is part of a long-term vision of augmenting the visibility of stone and techno-stone companies thanks to targeted international work, jointly promoted by the two organizations of reference for the stone industry”.
