At TISE 2025 the Italian delegation presented itself strong in the latest statistical figures processed by the CONFINDUSTRIA MARMOMACCHINE Studies Center, which for the first 11 months of 2024 showed the centrality of the United States as the number one market for Italian stone and stone technology products. In that period exports to the US of finished and semi-finished marble, granite and other natural stone products Made in Italy grew by 12.5% from the same period in 2023, for worth of nearly 490 million euros. Also on a decided uptake were Italy’s sales of raw stone materials to the US, (+47.1% for 18.5 million) making it the third-ranking buyer of blocks last year, after China and India. Finally, in that period the United States’ imports of Italian stone-working machinery and equipment, while less than the record levels of recent years, were worth 122.7 million euros.
