On March 15 at the Ministry of Business and Made in Italy (MIMIT) in Rome there was a meeting between Minister Adolfo Urso and CONFINDUSTRIA MARMOMACCHINE, the Confindustria association that represents the Italian stone and stone technology industry. Present for CONFINDUSTRIA MARMOMACCHINE were its president, Federico Fraccaroli and Honorary President in charge of official relations, Flavio Marabelli.
During the meeting were discussed the main topics of interest for sector companies, in particular the contribution that the stone industry can make to the new strategic imprint given promotion of the Made in Italy abroad, inaugurated by the MIMIT-MAECI (Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation) steering committee, which sees in “sectors” the best way of better coordinating its promotional work.
Apropos of this we remind readers that in recent years CONFINDUSTRIA MARMOMACCHINE has in fact been involved in a series of important agreements and protocols of intent to create promotional and training projects in foreign countries, not only on consolidated markets but also in countries of particular importance in the ambit of bilateral relations with Italy such as Algeria, Ethiopia, Pakistan, Vietnam and Afghanistan.
The meeting with Minister Urso and the attention given to the Italian stone and techno-stone industry the association represents once again attest to its role as ambassador of the finest Made in Italy worldwide.
