On July 20 the United Nations Security Council approved the nuclear agreement reached on July 14 in Vienna between the negotiators of the UN and Iran, with Tehran’s emissaries accepting limitations on their nuclear program and site monitoring by UN observers. In exchange, all sanctions will be revoked.
If the agreement is respected, this could open very interesting prospects for Italian companies: according to SACE, if sanctions against Iran are dropped Italian companies could recoup significant amounts of business with Tehran, in recent years heavily “compressed”.
